Day 12: Courageous Love

A witness is a person who speaks what they have seen from firsthand knowledge. A faithful witness implies that they fully speak what they were asked to speak without drawing back in fear. In true love, there is no place for passivity.

Application

1. Give an example in the last month when you became passive in loving someone. What was the negative consequences of your choice? How can you learn from this mistake?
2. Describe a time in your life when someone was passive in their love for you. How did it negatively affect you? Describe how God felt in that situation and what His true will was.
3. Explain the difference between being bold in love and being bold in pride. How can you personally become more bold in love and less bold in pride?
4. Pretend you are sharing your testimony with a high school student. Write an outline with your testimony leading into the 5-Point Gospel, with a overall theme of God’s bold love.
