Day 19: Comparison Versus Teamwork

As we mature in our pursuit of Jesus, we cannot let judgement, comparison, and complaining hinder us from our “First Love.” By keeping a biblical perspective of our brothers, sisters, and leaders we can continue keeping our heart burning for Jesus.

Meditative Scriptures

  1. Mat. 7:1-6
  2. 2 Cor. 10
  3. Rom. 14
  4. 1 Cor. 12
  5. Rom. 12
  6. Deu. 7 and 11
  7. Jonah

Application

  1. Describe a time during outreach where judgement, complaining, and comparison began quenching the Holy Spirit on the team. Explain how different responses affected our relationship with our First Love.
  2. Give an example during outreach when disunity affected your mission. Describe and reconcile any “broken relationships” on your team.
