We are called to finish the Great Commission.

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14)

About

Tommy and Claudia are on the leadership team of Youth With A Mission Philippines Impact. Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is the largest missions organization on earth. YWAM has trained over 5 million missionaries since the 1956. YWAMers currently work in every country and have over 2,000 operating locations. There are over 28,000 YWAM missionaries serving in the world today. Their vision is to take part in finishing the Great Commission.

Since Tommy and Claudia met, they have helped coordinate the body of God to reach over a half million people. Their mission primarily focuses on the remaining unreached nations of Asia, as well as, the United States of America. They have heart for the supernatural and powerful practical love of God to be revealed through medical, education, economics, government, family, and more.

Tommy and Claudia are currently working under the leadership of Mark Anderson, the founder of Impact World, or YWAM Campaigns, which unifies the body of Christ to bring evangelism, discipleship movements, and  community transformation to millions, and Call2all, a movement of over 50,000 global leaders focused on finishing the Great Commission using measurable goals called the “5 Finish Lines.” These partnerships include Wycliff, Campus Crusades, Joshua Project, International Missions Board, Back to Jerusalem movement and more.

Panel 2

5 Finish Lines

As we are part of the Call2all movement, our role is to unify the body of God to finish the Great Commission by completing the 5 Finish Lines. For more in-depth information please visit Call2all.

Unreached People Groups

There are 17,009 people groups in the world. 7,078 of them are still considered unreached. Meaning, 42% of the world’s population, or 3.14 billion people are still unreached in our present time.

Bible

There are around 7000 (6860 at last count) known languages in the world. There are still 4,055 languages with no bible translations finished. We can expect active translation projects for every language by the year 2020.

Evangelism

Every single person in the world needs to hear about Jesus in a way they can understand. There is still 1/3 of the world with no access to the gospel. That’s around 2 billion people. The remaining 2/3 may have access, but actually don’t often come into contact with the Good News of Jesus. Most believers come to faith by the time they are 18.

Church Presence

The goal is for every community to have a church presence. We must look at everywhere the church is not and target the “empty” places with fresh, intentional strategies of church multiplication.

Compassion and Justice

Jesus spoke the truth, in love, and showed the truth in his actions. If we are to fully represent Christ today we need to both proclaim his truth and demonstrate his love. It’s time to dismantle the false separation of preaching versus demonstrating the gospel, the old evangelical versus social gospel divide. We are called to be the healing, restoring hand and feet of Jesus today, whilst also proclaiming His message faithfully.

Panel 3

Live To Impact

Through the transformative love of Jesus we have witnessed brothels shut down, child trafficking zones become church planting movements, unreached tribe members go overseas as missionaries, student drop outs going back to school with a purpose in their life, cities becoming drug free, and families being restored in the their once broken communities. Jesus is alive! Nothing is impossible with the powerful love of God.

Jesus also did many other things. If they were all written down, I suppose the whole world could not contain the books that would be written.”  (Joh 21:25)
