Day 10: Wholehearted Love

God wants us to wholeheartedly love Him because He wholeheartedly loves us. He will supernaturally empower us to love Him this way. It takes “God to love God.” The anointing to receive God’s love and to return it to Him is the greatest gift the Spirit imparts to us.

Application

1. Describe your spiritual struggles with loving others and God under pressure and stress. How would you wholeheartedly love Jesus during times of testing and trials?
2. How does faithfulness with small and hidden tasks relate to wholeheartedly loving Jesus? How does Jesus feel when you wholeheartedly serve Him with small things?
3. Think of a time you have disagreed with a leader and you believed they were wrong. How did God want you to wholeheartedly Him and the person in that situation?
4. Explain why wholehearted love towards Jesus cannot exist when we are spiritually lukewarm. How would you counsel someone struggling with lukewarmness?
