We said yes to the Philippines in 2015 with five people and no plan B. Over a decade later, more than 1.5 million people have heard the Gospel face-to-face through the work God has built around us. This page is the short version of what that looks like on the ground — and how partners make it possible.
We don’t do this through one program. We do it by taking the Gospel into the places Filipinos already are: the classroom, the clinic, the screen, the basketball court, and the mission field. Here’s each one, with a story.
Education — character in public schools
A public elementary school in Malabon had the worst bullying record in its district. In 2024 the principal gave us a room. It became the Generous Classroom: students and teachers bring food and uniforms, parents join in, kids without baon can eat there, student officers tutor the ones who can’t read yet. The motto on the wall: give what you can, get what you need.
Since the program began, the school has recorded zero bullying cases. One former bully started giving, heard the Gospel, and was transformed. The new principal has now adopted it as the school’s official violence-prevention program — 128 teachers, about 4,000 students. A Grade 6 student put it this way: “It will be more peaceful and more in God’s order.”
That is one school. Tens of thousands of students across the Philippines are going through the same generosity and character curriculum in public schools, with the Gospel at the center.
Health care — dentists as missionaries
In the communities we serve, a toothache can mean weeks of pain and no way to pay. Christian dentists give their days off to run free clinics in slums, provinces and schools — and every patient hears why they came. Thousands of patients from underserved communities have received free dental care, and a growing number of Filipino dentists now see their profession as their mission field.
Media — the Gospel on the screen
We were part of the team that brought The Chosen, the most-watched Jesus series in history, to the Philippines — into theaters, onto national television, and online. Millions watched. Out of that grew a daily devotional movement with thousands of subscribers and hundreds of churches activated nationwide. Tommy’s music lives here too: hip-hop that speaks to Filipino youth in their own language.
Youth — the next generation
Tommy helps lead the largest evangelical youth movement in the Philippines, a coalition of over 90 denominations. Through youth events, sports ministry on the basketball court, and campus outreach, we’re shaping what a generation of Filipinos believes is possible for their lives and their nation.
Missions training — a sending nation
On a 29-acre campus in Maragondon, Cavite, we train and send Filipino missionaries through Discipleship Training Schools. The long-term vision is bigger than the Philippines: there are 12 million Filipinos living overseas, millions of them in nations closed to the Gospel. We believe God is raising up a million Filipino missionaries to reach the last unreached places of Asia — and that this nation, long a receiver of missionaries, is becoming a sender.
Tommy also teaches at DTSs and leadership gatherings across Asia; those teachings are free under Teachings.
Where we are now
What started as five people is now a team of over 80. Tommy’s role has shifted from doing everything to multiplying leaders — dentists, educators, media people and marketplace professionals who carry the Gospel into the places they already have access to. Our job is to identify them, equip them, and release them.
Follow the story as it happens
This page is the big picture. The week-to-week — the schools, the clinics, the campus, the family — lives on our social media. That’s where we post what’s happening right now.
Partner with us
We are donor supported. Our family lives on the gifts of partners who believe in this, and every gift is an investment in a movement, not just a family. Gifts are tax-deductible, and we send tax receipts at the end of the year. Partners hear from us personally.
