Day 21: Humility

The essence of meekness is rooted in who we are preoccupied with. The meek are preoccupied with Jesus as their source and owner of everything they possess. Therefore, they are grateful for it and they use it with a servant spirit and with generosity.

Meditative Scriptures

  1. Pro. 2
  2. Psa. 147
  3. Isa. 57
  4. Psa. 25
  5. Phi. 2
  6. John 3
  7. Luke 14:7-11

Application

  1. Give 1-3 examples during outreach when you felt entitled for something. Make a plan on how you can learn from these examples for future situations.
  2. Explain the difference between “false” humility and true humility. Explain situations where you are more easily susceptible to “false” humility. How can you improve in this area of your spiritual journey with God?
